Engaging Alumni and Friends

Every year, 25,000 people are touched by Columbus State.  Whether they are attending for an associate’s degree, a certificate, or to finish up a class over the summer, they have come to Columbus State to meet their educational needs, to move from one place in their life to another.

But once they leave Columbus State, how do we keep them in touch and engaged in our community?

The answer is you.

You are the key to engaging our former student community.  What do students remember most of their experience at Columbus State?  It is a faculty member, a class, or involvement in an activity that had the most influence.  Nursing graduates want to engage with other Nursing students, graduates, and faculty.  The same goes for Landscape Design, Dental Hygiene, and any other program at Columbus State.

You are the answer to engaging our former students.

How can The Foundation help you? This website was designed by the Foundation Office to be a resource to Columbus State programs on best practices and policies to engage your former students.

We are committed to helping you reach out to your Columbus State family to be volunteers, mentors, and donors to your program and to Columbus State.

We welcome your input and look forward in working with you to grow the Columbus State community!
