To honor the individuals, families, corporations, foundations and organizations that make outstanding contributions to the Columbus State Community College Development Foundation, the following giving levels have been established:
Annual Levels
Established in 2004 to honor those individuals, corporations and foundations who engage in the process of annual giving to achieve the funds necessary to support the mission and goals of Columbus State. This would annually cover the period of January 1 through December 31.

Lifetime Levels
Established in 2004 to recognize the distinguished donors who understand that the college can fulfill its educational goals only with their loyal support and financial involvement. These individuals have paved the way for the future and continue to support the excellent education afforded to Columbus State students. Membership is for a lifetime, and is tiered at five levels based on cumulative giving.

Alumni Advocate Society
Alumni understand the value and costs of a college education. In an effort to educate the importance of philanthropy to Columbus State alumni, a tiered giving society was established in 2004. Graduates are provided the opportunity to become a member of the Alumni Advocate Society with the idea of giving something back and serving others. Society members will also receive a free membership with all benefits in the Columbus State Community College Alumni Association. Funds raised by the Alumni Advocate Society will support the Alumni Endowed Scholarship Fund.

Legacy Society
Established in 2004, the Legacy Society recognizes donors who have included a gift to Columbus State Community College in their will or estate plan. Types of planned gifts include life income plans (such as charitable remainder trusts and charitable gift annuities), life insurance gifts, designation of a remainder interest in a donor's residence or real estate, or bequests made through a donor's will. Members of this society are invited to the annual President's Circle Dinner and to major college events.
Aquinas Society
Named after the first building occupied on the main campus in 1965. Membership is given to those who are consistent donors to the college for at least ten consecutive years. Members of this society are invited to the annual President's Circle Dinner.
President's Circle
The President's Circle, established in 2004, recognizes major donors: annual donations of $1,000 or more and lifetime gifts of $10,000 or more. Current members, Aquinas and Legacy Society members, and lifetime members are invited to the annual President's Circle Dinner and major college events. Membership in the President's Circle indicates exceptional commitment to the mission of Columbus State Community College.
All gifts will be recognized in the College annual Honor Roll. Each donor is important, and every gift, no matter the amount, makes a difference.
